There was an excellent turn out of exhibitors for the last Open Show of 2008 in Scotland, the Dumfries and Galloway BS Open show on 26 October 2008. The Best Crest anny age and best crest breeder were both won by Findaly & Flavell with their well now crest, FC Cinnamon Green and FC Sky blue cock both already have their phtotgraphs on this website.At the Northern BS Area show on 12 October 2008 Andy Brown won best crest. best crest any age and young bird.

The Scottish BS Specialist & Rare show was held on 11 October 2008 Best Crest was won by Alastair White with an excellent Green FC Cock, Best YB was won by Andy Brown.

At the SBS area show in August 2008 there were 15 crests benched from Findlay & Flavell, Andy Brown, Donald McCallum, D & A Bruton, Alistair White and John Hunter. Best AA crest was awarded to Findlay & Flavell (the same bird having won the previous week at the Edinburgh BS open show) pictured. Both birds were photographed by Robert Nawarauckas of Stranraer

Alistair White won the CC forbest crest at the Lanarkshire Central BS Open Show in July with an opaline violet FC hen bred by Arthur Miller of Doncaster.
	He beat off competition from D & A Bruton, who took the award for crest breeder, and the Camerons (father & son) 14 crests were benched.

The first show in Scotland took place on 10 May 2008-the Kingdom of Fife owner bred (2007) rung show.Best Crest was won by Alistair White from Cumnock with a yellow face full circular cock in excellent show condition.

He beat entries from Findlay & Flavell, Andy Brown and D & A Bruton.Best opposite sex crest was won by D & A Bruton.
